Location:‘s-Hertogenbosch | Hybrid Reports to: Head of Sourcing Europe
About the role We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join L, a dynamic, global scale-up. In this role, you will be part of the European sourcing team and the wider global sourcing community. You will be responsible for end-to-end product development and sourcing, from initial concept through to production, working closely with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners across Europe and selected Asian markets.
Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end sourcing and product development projects across categories such as print, ceramics, glassware, home textiles, seasonal gifts&premiums, and home&kitchen accessories. Collaborate closely with sales, quality, supply chain, product development and consumer insights teams to deliver best-in-class products for international markets. Develop products together with manufacturing partners, ensuring technical feasibility, quality, creativity and cost-effectiveness.Manage and further develop long-term supplier partnerships, while actively scouting and onboarding new suppliers within relevant categories. Translate consumer insights and global trends into innovative product concepts with a strong consumer-first mindset. Travel internationally (approximately once per month) to supplier locations, including Europe and Asia, to build strong relationships and oversee production.
What you bring Required 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in finished consumer goods (non-food, toys, entertainment-related or home categories). A solid understanding of how products are technically manufactured; a technical background is a strong advantage. Experience working with retailers, trading companies or multinational environments.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creativity, quality and cost. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Preferred Additional language skills such as Spanish, French or Eastern European languages. A collaborative personality who enjoys working across cultures and disciplines.
