Night Manager / Auditor, The Hague

Night Manager / Auditor The Hague Marriott, a premier hotel in The Hague, is looking for a Night Manager / Auditor to oversee administrative processes, guest services, and financial duties during the night shift. The role requires ensuring excellent service and safety for all guests.

Responsibilities

Review financial statements, sales and activity reports to assess productivity and identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement.

Respond to and resolve guest issues received directly from guests or via Guest Relations.

Assist accounts receivable clerk in invoice management to keep outstanding balances under 60 days.

Ensure chargebacks and rebates are processed promptly and kept to a minimum.

Monitor cash handling procedures and track overages/shortages.

Recruit, schedule, and manage the night team, including shift planning and hours.

Collaborate with property leadership to implement action plans preventing recurring guest issues.

Conduct security rounds to maintain hotel safety.

Generate and close daily reports, recognizing special guest requests.

Verify payment processes and ensure accuracy.

Greet and acknowledge guests per Marriott standards.

Process check‑ins and check‑outs, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and activate keys.

Troubleshoot problems as they arise, answering and documenting all guest calls, messages, requests, and concerns.

Follow all company safety and security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.

Maintain proper dress code, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Strive to meet departmental targets and comply with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety legislation, and local licensing laws.

Assist other departments when necessary.

Qualifications

Passionate about hospitality and night shift experience.

Flexible to work a varied schedule, including weekends.

Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high customer service levels.

Proficient in speaking and writing English and Dutch.

Experience with Opera&Marsha systems is an advantage.

Experience in a global hotel chain and customer‑facing role is advantageous.

Highly organized and independent; a team player.

Possession of a BHV diploma is required.
