Treasury Analyst, The Hague

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing payment processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and strengthening controls within treasury. You’ll collaborate closely with various internal teams and actively contribute to improvements and innovation in payment operations.Key Responsibilities

Execute and monitor outgoing payments (including wire transfers, SEPA, and electronic fund transfers) in line with established procedures Reconcile transactions and investigate discrepancies in payment workflows Review and validate payment instructions to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirementsManage bank statement processing within ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud), including reconciliation and posting Perform bank reconciliations and resolve mismatches between statements and general ledger balances Prepare weekly cash forecasts and monitor liquidity positions Support and coordinate cash management initiatives such as cash pooling, account rationalisation, and automationCollaborate with finance, accounting, and accounts payable teams to resolve payment‑related issues and improve efficiency Analyse payment trends and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings Work with IT to standardise payment formats and streamline processes Support payment factory implementation and integration with existing systemsPrepare reports and performance metrics for management and audit purposes Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience in treasury operations, payment processing, and cash management Strong understanding of payment systems, banking processes, and financial instruments Experience with TMS, ERP systems, and electronicbanking platforms (SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a plus)Experience with payment factory structures is preferred Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk management Effective communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
