Internship Design Engineering, The Hague

Position Overview Manometric is seeking an intern to contribute to the design and development of orthoses and prosthetics. You will collaborate with engineers, software developers, and external partners to prototype and refine medical products.

Responsibilities

Design medical products from concept to production, working closely with senior team members.

Conceptualize, prototype, test, and refine based on user insights.

Own projects and make a tangible impact on patients’ lives.

Collaborate with internal healthcare teams and engage with patients for rapid testing.

Use design tools such as Rhino, Fusion360, Figma, Adobe, and KeyShot or equivalents.

Qualifications

Strong skillset from concept (visualization, problem‑solving) to engineering (3D modelling, prototyping), demonstrated by a solid portfolio.

Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable being hands‑on.

Combines conceptual thinking with technical execution.

Collaborative yet able to work independently when required.

Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Strong eye for design aesthetics.
