Media Relations&News coverage Team

of the Corporate Affairs Bureau at Europol in Open Sources Research Support.

This internship project will focus on delivering support to the Media Relations Team in their Open-Source Intelligence activities.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the daily media monitoring activities and supporting data-driven media relations;

Contributing to the analysis of media coverage and supporting the development of a sentiment, reputation and trust barometer;

Participating in the development of customised newsletters for different target groups;

Monitoring and identifying relevant topics and their coverage in media and social media;

Drafting reports on key topics based on open sources;

Any other related activities under the supervision of the internship supervisor.

Selected applicants will join the internship projects for a minimum period of

6 months

and a maximum period of

12 months , including any possibility of extension based on the performance of the intern, the interest of the service and budget availability, with a work schedule of 40 hours a week. The internship will take place at the Europol premises in The Hague, The Netherlands.

During the period of internship, interns currently receive a

MONTHLY MAINTENANCE GRANT

of

1602 EUR , serving the purpose to cover the costs of living in The Netherlands.
