Financial Accountant, The Hague

As a Financial Accountant, you are responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements within an international environment. You contribute to reporting, reconsolidations and finance projects while continuously improving financial processes. This role requires candidates to live and work in the Netherlands. Preparing and reviewing financial statements and internal financial reports

Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities

Performing reconsolidations and balance sheet reconciliations

Contributing to group reporting and internal financial analyses

Supporting colleagues within the financial accounting and reporting team

Participating in finance and reporting related projects

Identifying and implementing improvements in financial processes and controls

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures

Acting as a financial sparring partner for internal stakeholders

Profiel van kandidaat

Relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting or a similar role

Hands‑on experience with financial statements and reconciliations

Working knowledge of IFRS is required (in‑depth expertise is a plus)

Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working

Interest in finance projects and process optimisation

Proactive, accurate and comfortable working in an international setting

Fluent in both Dutch and English

You must currently live in the Netherlands and be eligible to work here
