Senior Civil&Plant Steel Engineer The Hague Area, The Netherlands Full-time | Senior Level | Industrial / EPC Engineering
Are you an experienced Civil&Structural Engineer with a strong background in industrial plant projects? Do you enjoy working on complex multidisciplinary engineering challenges within the petrochemical, energy, offshore, or process industry? Then we are looking for you. About the Role
As a Senior Civil&Plant Steel Engineer, you will be responsible for all civil and structural engineering activities related to industrial facilities and plant environments. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-efficient engineering solutions.
Your responsibilities include: Engineering and coordination of: Foundations Structural steel Concrete structures Underground piping systems Industrial buildings and plant facilities Reviewing customer specifications and translating them into engineering deliverables Preparing technical specifications, requisitions, and bid evaluationsPerforming foundation load and structural steel calculations Coordinating soil investigations and interpreting geotechnical reports Managing and reviewing engineering work performed by designers and subcontractors Participating in model reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings Supporting procurement, construction, and project teams throughout executionEnsuring compliance with international standards and project requirements
What We’re Looking For BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or EPC environments Strong experience with: Structural steel engineering Civil and concrete structures Foundations Industrial plant design Underground piping systems Familiar with international design standards such as:Eurocodes DIN American standards Experience with engineering and modeling tools such as: Staad Pro AutoCAD MicroStation PDMS / E3D / SP3D / PDS Frameworks Strong communication and coordination skills Fluent in English Dutch is considered a plus
Important Candidates must already be living and working in the Netherlands or have a valid Dutch work permit. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship or relocation support is not available for this position.
