We are looking for a Medior Infra Cloud Engineer / Software Developer to join the team behind a business-critical, customer-facing web platform at a leading financial institution. You will contribute to the Azure-native infrastructure and back-end services underpinning a high-traffic platform that serves a global audience, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and compliant with international regulations.
About the role As an Infra Cloud Engineer / Software Developer, you are the bridge between development and production. You ensure a high-traffic, internationally facing platform, built fully on Azure-native architecture, runs reliably, scales gracefully, and deploys smoothly. You will work within a scrum team of experienced engineers, carrying your own stories end-to-end while also contributing to shared infrastructure standards.Your work spans CI/CD pipelines, Azure services (Functions, App Services, Front Door, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB), containerised workloads, and infrastructure-as-code. You will develop cloud-native solutions in C# and .NET, conduct code reviews, contribute to security and vulnerability management practices, and have genuine input into the way the team works. The role is within a stable, international financial services environment with room to keep learning.
About you Several years of experience with Azure and C#, building cloud-native applications Proven hands-on experience with Azure Functions (C#), containerised App Services, Azure Front Door, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, and Application Insights Strong command of the Microsoft/.NET ecosystem Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or YAML)Experience with software development practices including unit testing (xUnit / Moq), Sonar, and vulnerability management Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps Strong incident analysis and resolution skills Familiarity with secure software development practices
