About the Role
NIBC is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented model validator/developer to join our multi‑cultural team. The role is a central part of the Risk Analytics&Model Validation team. Responsibilities
Interact intensively with all departments of the bank to assess methodologies and their implementation. Engage directly with the business and other risk teams; provide assessment of business, and communicate recommendations to model owners and stakeholders. Validate all business‑critical models, including those used for valuation, pricing, IRRBB, FTP and RAROC.Help develop and maintain the bank’s model‑risk related policies and standards. Qualifications
Completed university degree in a quantitative subject (econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering). About 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in financial model validation or development in the areas of IRRBB and/or Market Risk. Skills with data‑modelling software such as Excel/VBA, Python and SQL.Practical experience with regulatory requirements (BIS, EBA, CRD, IFRS). Effective communication and collaboration skills, eye for detail and a critical approach to others’ work as well as your own. For candidates residing in the Netherlands – Dutch residence; VISA sponsorship available for those who need it.Benefits
