Responsibilities We are looking for a

Maintenance Area Manager

to lead and develop our on-site maintenance operations across multiple customer locations. In this role, you will oversee teams, optimize resource allocation, and ensure the highest level of service delivery while fostering a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Establish and maintain a solid customer relationship.

Manage maintenance teams across assigned area, including coordinators and direct supervision of technicians when required

Execute Coordinator responsibilities when applicable

Oversee overall workload within the area and optimize sharing of human and material resources incl. the implementation and monitoring of KPIs

Challenge and optimize budgets related to material purchasing within site scope

Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members

Identify and elevate training gaps; coordinate deployment of specifically trained technicians across sites

Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery

Liaise with HR BPs on individual cases and main corporate processes to ensure smooth cascading of information

Coordinate with Deployment teams to align maintenance team arrival on new sites

Define and set up the organization of on-site teams for new site launches

Support HR and Safety teams on compliance with local regulations

Ensure application and compliance with EHS procedures for internal teams and external partners

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of responsibility

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in maintenance management

Fluent in English and Dutch

Successful experience in leading and developing maintenance teams

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, extensive knowledge in software and automation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
