As a

Senior Business Analyst

within one of the Deal‑Flow&Relationship Management (DRM) domain teams, you play a pivotal role in driving data‑driven, user‑centric solutions. You act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring that complex requirements are translated into scalable, high‑quality solutions. Your Key Responsibilities

Translate business needs into clear, well‑structured user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Convert the high‑level enterprise data model into implementable technical data models (e.g., Mendix) and define integration patterns across systems. Partner closely with the Product Owner to refine and prioritise the backlog, balancing business value, dependencies, and technical feasibility.Lead and facilitate refinement sessions, stakeholder workshops, and interviews across Investment, Credit, Operations and other key departments. Analyse business data to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement. Ensure data quality by validating datasets, identifying inconsistencies and contributing to stronger data governance practices.Collaborate across teams to support the development and operation of integrations, shared data assets and reporting solutions. Gross yearly salary ranging from EUR 90‑110 K (based on 40 hrs per week, including 8 % holiday allowance and 13th month) depending on seniority, years of relevant experience and background. Working hours: 40 hrs per week. Pension scheme, partly paid by FMO. 31 holidays. Hybrid working: at least 3 days in the office.Remote working abroad for a maximum of 60 days in a rolling period of 12 months. Your Team

department, which leads and drives FMO’s long‑term change agenda. Within this department you will work in the

Deal‑Flow&Relationship Management (DRM) domain , focusing on scalable growth of FMO’s investment portfolio and improving efficiency through streamlined processes and intuitive, user‑friendly applications. Your Background

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong analytical mindset and proven experience in agile environments within the banking sector. Candidates must already be based in the Netherlands. Required Experience

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken. At least 10 years of overall professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant Business or Data Analyst role. At least 5 years of experience within the banking sector, preferably in the lending domain.Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment (must‑have). Experience in (low‑code) application development environments is strongly preferred. Core Competencies

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to translate complex challenges into clear, actionable insights. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in an agile delivery setting. Data‑driven mindset, supporting decisions through analysis and evidence.Hands‑on experience with process modelling, data modelling and data analysis. Experience with transactional and operational data models (not limited to reporting layers). Ability to investigate incidents and data inconsistencies using SQL. Experience with ad‑hoc data extraction to support day‑to‑day business operations.Nice to Have

Experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX and M.
