Finance Manager, Helmond

Three entities. Two countries. One opportunity to build a finance function the right way.

Our client, FlexiTog is part of an international group of five European businesses, with operations in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. The group is headquartered in the US and recently went through acquisition. We’re investing properly in our finance function, and the team is being rebuilt from the ground up.

That means new processes. New controls. New reporting. Set by you, not handed to you.

You’ll report to Anna Murphy, our Group Finance Director, and lead the existing finance team across Germany and the Netherlands. You’ll partner closely with operational and warehouse leadership at the Helmond site, work alongside the wider group finance team, and engage with our external auditors.You’ll have visibility across the group and the chance to shape how finance operates internationally.

Most Finance Manager roles are about maintaining what’s already there. This one’s about building it, across borders, post-acquisition, with group backing and a clear remit to establish what good looks like.

Key Responsibilities

Owning the production and delivery of management accounts across the German, European and Netherlands entities

Leading the statutory accounts process and supporting the audit for the relevant entities

Designing and implementing financial controls and processes in line with group standards

Managing and developing the existing finance team across Germany and the Netherlands

Tackling existing backlogs and fixing broken processes within the finance function

Acting as a finance business partner to the operational and warehouse leaders at the Helmond site

Partnering with the Group Finance Director on group consolidation and reporting

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or local equivalent) with strong management and statutory accounts experience. You’ve built or rebuilt finance processes and controls in change-heavy environments before, and you’re comfortable when the path isn’t already paved.

You speak fluent English and either fluent German or Dutch. You’re solution-driven, proactive, and you bring people with you when you’re fixing things.

Not required, but great if you have:

Post-acquisition, integration or transformation finance experience

Multi-entity, multi-currency or international group exposure

Familiarity with audit processes for unaudited or partially audited entities
