Business Consultant– LS Neighbourhood Approach Location:
Duiven / Nijkerk / Hybrid
Hours:
32–40 per week (preferably Monday&Friday on‑site)

About the Role As a Business Consultant within Liander’s Large Work Packages – Low Voltage (GW LS) department, you play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of new contractor contracts and the transition to the new ERP system (SAP S4). This work is part of the Neighbourhood Approach to Low Voltage—Liander’s production line focused on preparing low‑voltage electricity grids for the future as part of the energy transition.
You will support planning, training, project management, and process optimisation activities to ensure contractors and internal teams are ready for these major operational changes. You will work closely with implementation management, program managers and the GW LS business consultant team.
Key Responsibilities Implementation&Operational Support
Develop and maintain detailed implementation planning for contractor contracts and SAP S4 processes.
Assist in creating structured training materials (content provided by specialists).
Organize and coordinate training sessions (locations, invitations, logistics, facilitation).
Monitor contractor questions and ensure timely resolution with internal subject‑matter experts.
Project Management (PMO)
Provide PMO support for multiple running projects.
Prepare and maintain overviews of resources, people, timelines and deliverables.
Draft progress reports and prepare decision documents for leadership.
Track project progress, identify risks, signal bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Process Optimization
Conduct small‑scale process optimisations and improvements.
Develop work instructions to clarify operational processes.
Support SAP S4 testing and implementation activities from June 2026.
Requirements Education&Experience
Minimum HBO-level working and thinking capability.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar business consultancy or PMO role.
Experience in the energy sector, telecom/fiber, or similar technical domains (preferred).
Experience with ERP environments such as SAP S4 is a plus.
Skills&Competencies
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Clear communication, both written and verbal.
Pragmatic, proactive and independent; able to quickly take ownership.
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
Eager to learn, ambitious, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Able to build relationships across locations (Arnhem, Duiven, Nijkerk, Amsterdam).
Willing to engage with field operations to understand practical workflows.
Availability
Full availability in April, May and June (no extended leave).
Immediate start preferred.
On‑site presence required Mondays (Nijkerk) and Fridays (Duiven); hybrid on other days.
