About the Role For one of our international partners in the tech industry, we are looking for a Senior Workspace Specialist– Events&Soft Services to help create a positive, inclusive and well‑run workplace experience. Based at the HQ in Amsterdam, this role is part of the Workspace Specialist Team and focuses on Events, Soft Services and supplier management. You play a key role in building community, supporting business continuity and ensuring that workspace services are delivered smoothly and consistently across HQ locations, including Amsterdam and Manchester. Operating at a hands‑on, senior level, you work closely with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to improve employee experience, drive operational excellence and foster a workplace where employees feel valued and connected. This role is ideal for an experienced workplace or facilities professional who enjoys being visible on site, managing multiple stakeholders and combining operations with employee experience.
What You'll Do Workspace operations&governance
Review and maintain Workspace Services processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and organisational standards
Act as a subject matter expert and provide operational support on REWS‑led projects and smaller initiatives
Supplier&service management
Manage operational suppliers and ensure contracted services are delivered as agreed
Address performance issues and drive continuous service improvements
Events, community&experience
Partner with Community, Events teams and local committees to plan and deliver inclusive social events
Use employee feedback and data insights to improve workplace experience and engagement
Stakeholder&communication management
Build strong relationships with HQ stakeholders and manage expectations and escalations
Promote wellbeing, sustainability initiatives and relevant industry trends
Safety&continuity
Coordinate with Security and ERO teams to ensure up‑to‑date safety processes and emergency preparedness
Support business continuity through effective workplace planning
This role requires a strong on‑site presence; working from the office at least four days per week is expected.
What You Bring
Proven experience in events, soft services and vendor management
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Hands‑on experience planning and delivering workplace or employee events
Ability to manage change and support stakeholders through evolving workplace models
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project management skills
Empathy, inclusivity and a people‑first mindset
Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment
Fluent in English and Dutch
Nice‑to‑Have
Experience in tech or other international corporate environments
Exposure to workplace safety, emergency response or sustainability initiatives
Experience working in hybrid or multi‑location office setups
