Global Legal Director– M&A and Treasury

Location: Diemen, NL (Hybrid) The role is to serve as the legal architect for Randstad’s acquisitions, divestitures, and financing projects. You will partner with the Global General Counsel and Executive Board to shape the legal strategy behind each deal, ensuring that transactions strengthen our market-leading position.Key Responsibilities

Partner with the M&A lead to steer the legal strategy of acquisitions and joint ventures, taking the lead on legal topics while the M&A counterpart leads commercial terms. Negotiate primary transaction documents (SPAs, Shareholders’ Agreements) and other key legal agreements to protect Randstad’s long‑term interests. Structuring complex financing arrangements, including credit facilities and bond issuances, in collaboration with Global Treasury.Provide executive sparring on legal risk management, group structure, and corporate governance. Functionally manage a small, high‑performing team and lead multi‑disciplinary project groups across other Randstad functions. Required Qualifications

A qualified lawyer, preferably Dutch‑qualified or with strong Dutch corporate law experience. 10+ years of experience within a top‑tier law firm or a large‑scale corporate M&A environment. Financial fluency with ability to understand Treasury and Finance processes and interpret the story behind numbers. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of protecting corporate interests in complex transactions. Excellent communication skills; capable of building credibility with the Executive Board and managing global stakeholder groups.A constructive challenger mindset: independent, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented.
