Freight Forwarder, 's-Heerenberg

Overview Join DSV as a Freight Forwarder in‘s-Heerenberg and help our customers in the fashion, gaming and hi‑tech industries by delivering smart and efficient transport solutions. You will work in a dynamic, international environment and drive the smooth flow of customer transports.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the accurate and timely flow of customers’ transports.

Check all shipment details, follow customer instructions and record information correctly in the system.

Verify required customs documents and CMRs, then forward orders to carriers.

Coordinate with expedition and other internal departments.

Provide spot quotes or rates for international return shipments.

Ensure a smooth booking process, on‑time departures, on‑time arrivals and flawless administrative handling.

Proactively follow up on and communicate the status and progress of transports with customers, carriers and internal teams.

Book transport across various modalities and prepare as well as maintain overviews and reports.

Qualifications

Demonstrable and up‑to‑date knowledge of the international transport market; experience with other modalities such as ocean freight is a plus.

High level of independence within an experienced freight‑forwarder team.

Good command of Dutch and English languages.

A structured and accurate way of working.

Salary in accordance with the DSV Contract Logistics collective labour agreement, based on your knowledge and experience.
