Testing Technician, Dordrecht

Mission of the Position CAF Group has signed an agreement with NS and Qbuzz to deliver two types of rolling stock. Before the products can be delivered for public usage, the Testing Technician must perform multiple software, hardware and electronic tests under the leadership of the Testing Engineer at the main factory in Beasain and at other testing facilities in Europe before the rolling stock arrives in the Netherlands.

Position Responsibilities As a Testing Technician you will perform troubleshooting and provide solutions to improve complex systems, investigate defects, make diagnoses and write reports. You will discuss findings with your supervisor, implement corrective actions and support the team by working safely and efficiently. You may be required to work different shifts, both during the week and weekends, and will receive a shift allowance.

You as a Person Lives in the Netherlands and is willing to travel abroad for several months at a time. Has a broad technical background in electrical and mechanical domains, is capable of diagnosing complex systems, and can provide and communicate technical information. Prepared to work in small international teams and adapt to changing conditions with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum MBO 3 level in either Electrics, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics.

1 to 3 years of experience in a comparable position in the railways, maritime, aviation or other relevant sector.

Preferably experience with the commissioning of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

Expected to travel and work with team members in Beasain, Spain and other EU countries.

Stress‑resistant and able to work under pressure.

Organised, detailed, efficient and assertive.

Eager to learn and challenged by solving technical issues.

Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.

Compensation and Benefits

Definite contract of 1 year with one month probation period, possibility of extension.

Min.€3,200 and max. €3,800 (monthly gross) depending on background and experience.

14% shift allowance based on the monthly salary.

27 holidays and 13 roster‑free days (ADV) per annum, based on 40 hours per week.

Travel allowance of€0.23 per km for max. 50 km per day.

Training for safety certifications covered by the company.

Additional social skills training, such as language classes, may be provided as per the Collective Labour Agreement Metalektro.
