We are currently supporting a growing manufacturing business in the Netherlands looking to hire a

Chemical Engineer

with strong expertise in

injection moulding and mold development .

This is an exciting opportunity to join a technically driven team.

Key Focus Areas:

Injection Moulding Processes:

Strong understanding of injection moulding principles, machine parameters, material behaviour, and process optimisation to ensure high-quality, repeatable production.

Feasibility Studies:

Conduct technical feasibility assessments for new products and tooling, including material selection, manufacturability analysis, and cost-efficiency considerations.

Mold Flow Analysis:

Perform and interpret mold flow simulations to optimise gate locations, cooling systems, cycle times, and reduce defects such as warpage, shrinkage, or air traps.

Mold Construction&Optimisation:

Work closely with toolmakers and production teams on mold design, construction, validation, and continuous improvement of tooling performance.

Hands-On Engineering Expertise:

Practical, shop-floor experience supporting production, troubleshooting processing issues, and implementing process improvements.

Nice to Have:

Metrology&Measurement Systems Experience:

Familiarity with dimensional inspection techniques, measurement equipment (e.g., CMM), tolerance analysis, and quality validation processes.

Strong, hands‑on industry experience is far more important.

Fluency in both English and Dutch is essential for effective collaboration across team
