Sales Support&Deployment Engineer– Mobile Telco Products Location:
The Netherlands (Eindhoven is preferred)
About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Support&Deployment Engineer with strong technical expertise in mobile telecommunications technologies and hands‑on experience deploying telco‑grade software and hardware. In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales, customers, and engineering, supporting the full lifecycle—from pre‑sales technical engagement to deployment, integration, testing, and customer success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the mobile network ecosystem (5G/6G), enjoys customer interaction, and can communicate complex technical concepts with clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to the sales team during customer meetings, workshops, and RFP/RFQ processes.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution architectures for mobile telco products (e.g., 4G/5G core, RAN, private networks, edge platforms).
Translate customer requirements into technical proposals, bills of materials, and deployment plans.
Support product positioning, competitive differentiation, and customer technical inquiries.
Deployment&Integration
Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of mobile network products at customer sites or cloud environments.
Install and configure network elements (e.g., EPC/5GC, RAN components, orchestrators, management systems).
Work closely with engineering teams to resolve integration issues, troubleshoot deployments, and ensure successful acceptance testing.
Conduct end‑to‑end system validation, interoperability testing, and performance optimization.
Customer Success&Post‑Sales Support
Provide technical support during trials, PoCs, and pilot deployments.
Deliver customer training, documentation, and knowledge‑transfer sessions.
Ensure smooth handover to operations teams and support long‑term account success.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong understanding of 4G/5G architecture, 3GPP standards, mobile core, RAN, and IP networking.
Experience with telco‑grade deployment: Linux systems, virtualization (VMware/KVM), cloud environments, and container‑based architectures (Docker/K8s).
Hands‑on experience with network troubleshooting and analysis tools (Wireshark, TCPdump, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Customer‑facing experience in pre‑sales, sales engineering, or deployment roles.
Onsite job with 25% travel requirements.
Fluent Dutch language is necessary.
Preferred
Experience with Network Sharing, Network Slicing and Neutral Host.
Familiarity with orchestration platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Background in OSS/BSS and network orchestration solutions is a plus.
Ability to travel to customer sites when required.
