Warehousing Inventory Controller

Job Mission and Context To remain competitive and consistently meet customer demands, our Supply Chain Management team commits to continuously professionalizing its operations. A major challenge is standardizing processes across our network of over 60 warehouses worldwide.
To support this standardization, we are implementing an interface that connects our ERP system (SAP) with the warehouse management systems (WMS) of our logistics service providers. This setup requires a dedicated inventory controller role to ensure inventory levels are synchronized between our internal systems and external partners.
You will join the global inventory control team within our diverse warehousing department. Bringing strong cross‑departmental communication skills, persistence, and a drive for success, you will be instrumental in achieving these goals.
This role supports warehouses across multiple time zones worldwide, operating on a‘follow the sun’ principle, ensuring coverage around the clock. We are currently looking for someone based in Veldhoven to support the European region (CET time zone). The team also has members located in Korea, Taiwan, and the US.
Job Description&Main Responsibilities As an Inventory Controller, your primary responsibility is to keep stock levels in our ERP system aligned with those in the WMS. This requires a deep understanding of logistics processes and IT systems. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, global local warehouse teams, and logistics service providers to ensure inventory management processes run smoothly and according to plan.
Your responsibilities include:
Producing daily stock reports and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
Collaborating with IT support, local planning teams, and third‑party logistics providers.
Managing and resolving disruptions in logistics processes both between and within warehouses.
Monitoring interface performance and troubleshooting errors in interface messages/documents.
Analyzing issues to identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Overseeing inventory stock counts and accuracy checks across all warehouse locations and partners.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of logistics processes, particularly the IT flows involved.
Experience with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
Proficient with MS Office, ERP systems, WMS applications, and system interface connections.
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
Seniority level Associate
