Product Quality&Reliability Engineer
to join our client's team at their location in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Responsibilities
Ensuring the quality and reliability of products through the implementation of various processes and methodologies. Bringing the product reliability to another level, with goal to further improve uptimes and to reduce warranty costs. Defining reliability requirements and budgets, planning reliability verifications, and reviewing supplier readiness.Training and coaching less experienced Product Quality engineers, and leading improvements to increase the competence of the team. Performing activities on system integration and module projects Risk assessment“Failure Mode and Effects Analysis” (FMEA) process on module and system level Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) processDefining and maintaining test process and acting as test coordinator Building well defined test methods in a collaborative environment Implementing reliability analysis for new developments and predict warranty costs using field feedback and FMEA outcomes Create test coverage on requirements coming from: design team, business units, operations and service organization.Supporting the development with plans for reliability testing (test to fail) and reliability verification (test to pass) Supporting design teams with root-cause analyses (for example with statistical engineering) and to implement Design for Reliability. Apply statistical methods to develop reliability modelsYour Profile / Qualifications
Location - Eindhoven area or nearby (the role requires four days on-site per week) University degree (BSc or MSc) in Physics, Engineering, Sustainable Energy or related field 5+ years preferred of proven experience with developing and testing of low volume, complex high-tech systems Experience with the different development subject areas (hardware, software, mechanics, mechatronics, and physics)Design for Six Sigma or DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) certification is nice to have Shown experience in change management and implementation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and/or Dutch Interested?
