Studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business IT&Management or a similar field.

Comfortable working in English and/or Dutch.

Enjoy unravelling processes and improving them.

Have an interest in AI and AI agents.

Job Description To make life easier for the teams that work with us, we want to build an AI agent that acts as our first line of support. This agent should be able to walk teams through the application onboarding process, propose solutions based on our best practices, and help software developers get the most out of our code libraries.

As our intern, you will be the one building this agent. The assignment has two sides: understanding and improving our current processes, and actually creating the AI agent itself. Reading source code is helpful, but you are not expected to write code yourself.

Responsibilities

Talk to stakeholders to understand what they need.

Map out the process to identify which sources the AI agent should draw from.

Spot opportunities to improve existing processes and implement those improvements.

Explore existing AI solutions and adopt best practices.

Build your proposed solution and demonstrate it works.

Write up recommendations to keep the agent relevant and maintainable going forward.

Connect the agent to existing DAF tooling so it can do more than just answer questions.

Investigate whether the agent could be integrated directly into a software engineer's code editor.

Department You will be part of an experience and dedicated international development team within the IT Europe department of PACCAR, located in our office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and working with colleagues in Seattle and India. Our team manages an identity and access management platform that brings dealers, customers, and suppliers together in one place, offering a single login to access a wide range of DAF applications to configure, sell, and manage trucks. A big part of what we do is helping other DAF application teams connect to our platform smoothly, providing onboarding guides, software libraries, and ongoing support. We also continuously keep up with the latest security standards and update our codebase accordingly.
