Essential Duties

Be responsible for the complete software lifecycle.

Determine the software architecture, design, and development for our machines.

Define the system architecture for our machines.

Test software on the machines in our workshop.

Meet challenging and continuously changing customer requirements.

Propose and realize new technologies, innovations, and improvements.

Analyze and solve reported failures on delivered machines.

Assist Assembly, Test, and Service Engineers with software‑related issues to improve technology and services for customers.

Possibility to travel to customers to resolve software issues on site.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience developing software for complex machinery.

Familiarity with state machines, control flow, threading, (unit) testing, real‑time programming, WPF, and MVVM.

Proficient in C# or C; experience with Python is a plus.

Experience developing for the Windows Platform or B&R PLC platform.

Ability to communicate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Development Engineers.

Experience with secure software development and DevOps is a plus.

Understanding of Agile and Scrum is a plus.

Excellent written and spoken English is required; Dutch and additional languages are a plus.

Position may include international travel; must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport.

Travel and fieldwork, including international travel, may be required; must possess or acquire a valid passport.
