SD-WAN Network Engineer (ID: 3710), Eindhoven

As an SD-WAN Network Engineer, you will:

Design, implement, and support scalable and resilient Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions across enterprise environments.

Manage and troubleshoot core SD-WAN components including vManage, vSmart, vBond, ISR/ASR/Catalyst 8000v edge devices.

Own and resolve L2/L3 incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive problem management for SD-WAN fabric and edge infrastructure.

Troubleshoot OMP adjacencies, TLOC extensions, BFD tunnel health, DTLS/TLS control connections, and IPsec data plane issues.

Configure and manage feature/device templates, centralized&localized policies, segmentation, QoS, VPNs/VRFs, and service chains.

Support ZTP onboarding, site migrations, golden configuration standardization, compliance checks, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery activities.

Work with overlay/underlay routing technologies including OSPF, ISIS, BGP redistribution, and underlay peering with MPLS/ISP providers.

Integrate SD-WAN with Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and third‑party security services such as Zscaler/Prisma where applicable.

Perform deep‑dive analysis using packet captures, telemetry, syslog, SNMP, NetFlow, and vManage analytics to optimize performance and stability.

What You Bring to the Table:

6–8 years of overall networking experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in Cisco SD‑WAN (Viptela) technologies.

Solid understanding of SD‑WAN architecture, fabric design, transport independence, and integrated security.

Experience with policy creation, segmentation, QoS, App‑Aware Routing, SLA classes, and traffic engineering.

Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, tunneling, security, and cloud connectivity.

Hands‑on exposure to Cisco ISR/ASR/Catalyst platforms and C8000v/CSR cloud edge deployments.

Knowledge of certificate lifecycle/PKI, upgrades, DR procedures, and operational runbooks.

Experience supporting enterprise WAN environments with incident management and production support responsibilities.

You Should Possess the Ability To:

Architect and support highly available SD‑WAN network solutions for distributed environments.

Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across overlay and underlay infrastructures.

Manage routing, segmentation, and security policies while maintaining performance and compliance.

Support branch, data center, and cloud connectivity integrations.

Work independently on incident resolution, RCA, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional infrastructure and security teams.

Deliver support in onsite enterprise environments while handling operational and project‑based responsibilities.
