Bachelor / Master Internship: Artificial Intelligence in truck sales processes Student with ideas on how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the logistical truck sales processes.

Truck Logistics Overview Truck Logistics is part of the central Marketing and Sales organization of DAF Trucks located in Eindhoven. The main process of Truck Logistics consists of:

Lead management

Truck Order Management

Delivery of the trucks

Registration of the trucks

Challenge Your challenge? Using AI to discover smart ways to increase the sales of additional truck options based on data and insights from previous customers. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm innovative solutions, collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders, and ultimately develop a working concept that makes a real impact. Since the project is still evolving, there is plenty of room to shape the assignment together and incorporate your ideas when you start.

Function Requirements

Education: Enthusiastic bachelor or master student pursuing a degree in IT, Organizational Process Science, or a similar field with a strong affinity for AI.

Experience: Experience or internships in AI applications, logistics, or sales processes are a plus.

Other Experience: Preferably experience with data analysis, machine learning tools, or process optimization within a logistical sales environment.

Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively collaborate within the team; Dutch is a plus.

Competencies: Demonstrates social, professional, and personal skills, including sensitivity to change and adaptability; the number of internship days is negotiable.

An internship wage of€375 gross (Bachelor) and €450 gross (Master) per month on a full‑time basis.

A travel allowance if you don’t have a student travel product (provided by the Dutch government).

A housing allowance if you temporarily rent a room near DAF.

Each intern will have the opportunity to participate at the Student Event. During this event you will meet other interns and find out more about DAF/PACCAR!
