EDA Software Support Engineer, Eindhoven

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with end‑users to support software in polygon level physical IC layout.

Analyze and resolve software issues reported by users.

Create specifications for new or upgraded software features.

Develop prototypes in Python for new features.

Demonstrate software during the sales process.

Travel to customers or trade shows as needed.

Communicate with R&D developers to create optimal specifications for new features.

Implement work‑around solutions using Python.

Key Requirements

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, 5‑10 years of experience.

Experience in large software projects (50+ person‑years), working in a team.

Understanding of IC physical layout; insight into integrated circuit processing steps is a pro.

Proficient scripting in Python.

Demonstrated ability to meet the above requirements.

Travel availability: up to two weeks every two months.
