Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer, Eindhoven

The Position As part of our continued growth, we are looking for

FPGA Engineers

to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in the North Brabant region, mainly in the semiconductor industry.

As a FPGA Engineer, your main tasks will include:

Designing, implementing, and verifying

FPGA architectures

using VHDL or Verilog, including RTL development, module design, and interface logic.

Performing

simulation, functional verification, and debugging

using tools such as ModelSim, QuestaSim, or Vivado, and ensuring compliance with timing and resource constraints.

Integrating and simulating

RTL code

within larger digital systems, including testbench creation, constrained‑random testing, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop validation.

Translating

system‑level requirements

into detailed hardware specifications, block diagrams, and FPGA design documentation.

Running

synthesis, place‑and‑route, timing analysis , and optimization to meet performance, power, and area targets.

Supporting

board‑level bring‑up , lab testing, and integration with embedded software, microcontrollers, or SoCs.

Documenting designs, verification strategies, and test results to support certification, quality assurance, and long‑term maintainability.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

2+ years of experience in a similar role

Proficient in

VHDL / Verilog , simulation tools, and

FPGA

toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus)

Fluent in

English

(Dutch is a plus)

Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and good communication skills

Comfortable working remotely with engineering teams in other countries than the Netherlands.
