As a

Senior Electrical Engineer

in R&D, you will take ownership of the electrical infrastructure within highly complex mechatronic systems. This is an architect-level role focused on long-term system vision, compliance, and reliability.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer:

Define electrical infrastructure roadmaps for complex systems

Design power distribution, grounding and interconnection architectures

Create and review interface diagrams and load calculations

Safeguard compliance with international electrical safety standards

Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments and system evaluations

Coordinate certification and regulatory approval processes

Guide module interface definitions across multidisciplinary projects

Improve legacy cabling and interconnect structures with a future-proof vision

What you need to be successful as a Senior Electrical Engineer:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

5+ years of experience in electrical infrastructure for complex systems

Strong knowledge of mains and low-voltage power systems

Expertise in grounding, protection and electrical interconnections

Experience with electrical safety, interlocks, fusing and EMI mitigation

Familiarity with CE, UL, CSA, NEN, NFPA, IEC or SEMI S2 standards

Ability to translate system-level requirements into detailed designs

Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
