Business Manager Industry - Eindhoven

MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast‑growing high‑tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large‑scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven,but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. The company is characterized by a 'can‑do' mentality, in which responsibilities lie low in the organization and 'accountability for results' is a natural consequence. At the same time, the focus is on making each other successful and supporting each other, where necessary.

Context We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Architect to lead the design and development of high‑tech complex mechanical systems.

Your Responsibilities

Define and maintain a technically consistent system architecture.

Translate customer requirements into system specifications and architectural roadmaps.

Balance performance, cost, and timeline constraints in system design decisions.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (e.g. software, electronics, systems engineering).

Document, manage, and maintain system architecture and design decisions.

Perform trade‑off analyses to determine optimal design solutions.

Guide the development and realization of key system modules.

Drive continuous improvement and contribute to knowledge sharing within the mechanical domain.

Introduce and implement innovative ideas and technologies where applicable.

What You Bring to the Table

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with a focus on mechatronics or mechanics).

At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry (or similar high‑tech environment).

At least 10 years of experience in roles such as system architect, chief constructor, or lead mechanical engineer.

Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

Strong technical leadership; you provide direction to engineering teams.

Ability to think abstractly and approach problems creatively.

Maintain a strong overview ("helicopter view") while understanding key details.

Clear and structured communication and reporting style.

Ability to build and maintain internal and external networks.

Confident in challenging others to improve ideas and solutions.

Proactive, entrepreneurial, and results‑driven.
