Infrastructure&Security Operations Analyst - Eindhoven

Junior Infrastructure&Security Operations Analyst We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support our Secure IT Environment function. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT or cybersecurity career who is eager to develop practical experience in infrastructure change processes, compliance monitoring, and security operations.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure&Network Change Support

Review infrastructure and network‑related change requests (e.g., firewall rules, connectivity, access requests) against predefined standards and guidelines

Validate completeness and accuracy of submitted requests

Provide structured feedback and follow up with requestors for missing or incorrect information (under senior supervision)

Perform regular compliance checks against internal standards and governance frameworks

Security&Compliance Assistance

Support alignment of infrastructure changes with secure environment requirements (e.g., restricted or high‑secure environments)

Assist with audit preparation by collecting, organizing, and maintaining evidence and documentation

Escalate deviations, risks, or policy gaps through established channels

Operational Coordination

Participate in recurring team meetings to track workload, priorities, and handovers

Collaborate with infrastructure architects, security teams, and service request owners

Support transition and handover processes through clear documentation and status tracking

Documentation&Reporting

Maintain operational tracking tools such as approval logs and follow‑up registers

Ensure documentation is accurate, structured, and audit‑ready

Record information only in designated systems in line with governance practices

Scope&Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a Secure IT Environment Officer

Follow established templates, checklists, and review criteria

Support decision‑making processes, but do not approve final designs or policy exceptions

Required Skills&Experience Technical Knowledge (Foundational)

Basic understanding of:

Networking concepts (IP addressing, ports, protocols)

Firewall rules and configurations

Segmented or secure IT environments

Familiarity with ticketing systems and service request workflows

Professional Skills

Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical working style

Clear and professional written communication skills

Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately

Tools&Ways of Working

Experience with:

Service request and approval systems (e.g., ticketing tools)

Collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, email)

Structured templates and tracking documents
