We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to support software deployments in a complex technical environment. In this role, you help ensure that software updates and releases are executed safely and efficiently across customer and test environments. You will work in a high-tech environment where software interacts with operational warehouse systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support reliable deployments and minimal downtime during live operations.
What you will do• Execute software deployments across test, virtual, and production environments • Prepare and validate deployment environments and configurations • Support the creation of deployment runbooks, release notes, and rollback procedures • Perform deployment rehearsals and post-deployment validation activities• Monitor system behavior during deployments and customer smoke tests • Troubleshoot issues during deployments and support resolution activities • Collaborate with deployment managers, test teams, and operational stakeholders • Contribute to improving deployment processes, tooling, and automation• Support go-live and commissioning activities when required
What you bring• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as informatics, engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering • Experience in software deployment, integration, IT operations, or technical support environments • Understanding of operational or service-oriented systems• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in multidisciplinary technical teams • Good communication skills in English • Willingness to travel internationally when required
Technical environment You may work with technologies such as:• SQL and basic scripting • Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes • PowerShell and XML configurations • Virtual machines and infrastructure environments • Jira and deployment tooling
Nice to have Experience with one or more of the following areas is considered a plus:• Warehouse automation systems (WMS/WCS) • Industrial automation or control systems • Networking or infrastructure environments • DevOps or CI/CD environments • PLCs, SCADA, or integration testing
