We are seeking a
Senior Optical Design Engineer
to lead the
design and development of advanced optical systems
within a high‑tech engineering environment.
Responsibilities Optical system design (imaging&illumination) from
concept to industrialization Optical modeling, simulation, and
tolerance analysis Translate
system requirements
into optical architectures Use optical design tools (e.g.
Zemax, Code V, FRED ) Stray light analysis, performance optimization, and trade‑off studies Support
prototyping, testing, and optical alignment Collaborate with
mechanical, electronics, and software
teams Technical ownership, design reviews, and mentoring of junior engineers
Requirements MSc / PhD in
Optical Engineering, Physics, or Optics 3+ years of experience in
optical design&development Strong background in
imaging optics, illumination optics, tolerancing Experience in
high‑tech / R&D / product development
environments Hands‑on with optical testing and metrology
