Role Overview
Sr. UX Telemetry Expert– Technical Implementation. In this role you will elevate the quality of insights into how people truly use and experience Philips products by building the technical foundations for UX Telemetry. Rather than focusing on standard analytics implementations, you will build telemetry architectures that capture meaningful behaviors, clinical workflow patterns, user journeys, and friction points across a diverse health‑tech ecosystem.You will drive the technical implementation of UX Telemetry across Philips products, defining the right architecture, event structures, tracking logic, implementation approach, data quality checks, and analytical readiness. Your role involves ensuring telemetry is scalable across different product types, architectures, and hardware environments while enabling advanced analytics over time.Responsibilities
Develop and implement UX Telemetry architectures across Philips products, defining event structures, tracking logic, and data quality checks. Ensure telemetry scalability across web, cloud, desktop, device‑connected, and on‑premise systems. Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Quality&Risk Management, and System Architects to shape UX Telemetry strategies aligned with product and workflow objectives. Provide architectural guidance and telemetry instrumentation standards for reusable data collection. Guide engineering teams on implementation quality, validation, and data consistency.Build foundational dashboards, metric logic, and data readiness for insight generation. Prototype advanced, predictive, AI‑supported analytics to strengthen UX Telemetry capabilities over time. Promote privacy‑aware and consent‑aware telemetry designs in compliance with data minimization and regulated health‑tech environments.Qualifications
MSc degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Design Technology, Data‑driven UX Design, or proven equivalent. 7+ years in digital product, analytics implementation, design engineering, or related roles. Experience with industry‑grade analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Pendo, Amplitude).Strong understanding of technical architectures and software implementation patterns. Front‑end programming skills in React, Angular, or similar. Experience defining event schemas, telemetry taxonomies, and tracking logic. Analytical skills to validate data quality and support scalable dashboarding.Experience or strong affinity with advanced analytics, predictive analytics, and AI‑supported workflows. Strong communication skills in English; Dutch preferred. Familiarity with privacy‑by‑design principles and compliant analytics in regulated environments. Affinity with Usability and Human Factors (pre‑required).Benefits and Culture
