Application Specialist, Goes

Functie beschrijving We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Specialist who enjoys helping colleagues and improving daily processes. In this role, you provide first‑line support for system and user questions and train key users at our site in Oud Gastel. Experience with Blue Yonder is a plus, but certainly not required — we are happy to teach you everything you need to know.

What will you do as an Application Specialist? As an Application Specialist, you play an important and versatile role within the organization. You ensure standards and procedures are followed, identify bottlenecks, and escalates them to the supervisor when needed.

Your responsibilities include:

Implementing new systems

Participating in workshops related to new systems

Training and instructing key users based on site needs

Providing support to users regarding the relevant application(s)

Contributing to projects related to these applications

Implementing corporate initiatives to improve data quality and safeguarding these standards

Investigating, resolving, and responding to system‑related customer issues

Developing new reports in Power BI or other applications

Informing key users of changes in applications and procedures in a timely manner

Identifying risks and bottlenecks and reporting them promptly to the supervisor

Preparing change proposals and submitting them for evaluation

Functie eisen What you bring

Excellent English, both spoken and written. You do need to understand Dutch for this role as well. No need to speak it fluently

Bachelor‑level working and thinking ability in a field such as ICT, Business Administration, Economics or Logistics Management

Knowledge of Blue Yonder, Centiro, or Power BI is an advantage

Strong understanding of current developments and opportunities in ICT

Strong communication and persuasion skills for training, instructing, motivating, and guiding stakeholders or project team members

Analytical skills and practical insight to analyze business processes, understand dependencies, and propose effective solutions

Full‑time position in day shift with a flexible start time between 07:00 and 09:00

Option to work 32 hours

Gross monthly salary in CLA scale 8 between€ 3.100,56 and € 4.580,67 depending on experience
