(Senior) Backend Java Engineer Full-time
As a (Senior) Backend Java Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing our content automation platform, developing high-performance, secure, and scalable backend services. You will work on cloud-native architectures, enhance system performance, and enable seamless integrations across enterprise environments.
Locations Warsaw, Porto, Groningen
Your Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java within the Doxis platform
Optimize system performance and efficiency in cloud-based environments
Contribute to the development of cloud-native architectures using technologies such as Kubernetes and Redis
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support automation, system integrations, and CI/CD workflows
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery and high-quality releases
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using SAML, OIDC, and Keycloak
Ensure compliance with enterprise-grade security standards, including data protection and access control
Your Profile
Strong experience in backend development with Java (preferably Spring/Spring Boot)
Solid understanding of JVM internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Proven track record in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern DevOps practices
Hands‑on experience with identity and access management (SAML, OIDC, Keycloak)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience with WOPI (Web Application Open Platform Interface), particularly in enterprise document management environments, and AI Agentic would be an advantage
