IT / Network Engineer - Service Provider, Groningen

One of our top clients is seeking a Network Support Engineer to join their team in Groningen, supporting secure and reliable network infrastructure in a hands‑on, customer‑facing role.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Fortinet networking experience who enjoys working hands‑on with customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering high‑quality technical support.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer‑focused engineering support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems

Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues across various environments

Provide technical support both remotely and on‑site at customer locations

Support and maintain secure network environments using Fortinet technologies

Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills&Experience

Proven hands‑on experience with Fortinet networking solutions

Strong background in network support, troubleshooting, and customer‑facing engineering roles

Full driving licence and willingness to travel when required

Ability to pass a medical assessment

Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken

Experience or knowledge of VSAT technologies, particularly Starlink

Salary and Benefits

€3,000 - €4,500 per month
