Job Description

Academic and/or trades qualifications in mechanical discipline

10 years Mechanical QA/QC experience in Industrial-type projects with minimum 5 years' experience in a lead role

Excellent communication skills and presentation is essential

Ability to present specification requirements to the project team(s) and demonstrate compliance is essential

Industrial and process project experience preferable

Knowledge and experience of piping and HVAC systems required

Role will comprise of coordinating QA/QC walk downs related to quality control of completed systems and commissioning tagging walks, confirm all inspection and documentation associated with Equipment; HVAC ducting systems; Plumbing&drainage systems; Coordination of preparation of test packs; witnessing of pressure testing; Weekly reporting on QA/QC performance; troubleshooting; managing walk down schedules.

The candidate will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to ensure quality standards are achieved with minimal snags.
