Systems Engineer– Medical Devices (IPL Technology) We are looking for a
Systems Engineer
to take a leading role in the development of innovative
medical device technologies , specifically within
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
systems. In this position, you’ll act as a
technical leader , collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and build complex systems from concept to implementation—all within a highly regulated environment.
Your Role As a Systems Engineer, you will: Lead and collaborate with technical teams in the development of
IPL technologies, products, and systems Work closely with experts across
mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
to deliver integrated solutions Support product development by ensuring adherence to
structured development methodologies and decision frameworks Maintain
full traceability across the V-model , from high-level requirements down to design verification Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Systems Engineering (e.g.,
MBSE, SAFe Agile )
Your Profile MSc in
Systems Engineering, (Applied) Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering , or related Minimum
3 years of leadership experience
managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects Hands-on experience with tools such as
DOORS, Matlab, CREO, Ansys Familiarity with
medical device regulations
(e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) Strong background in
mathematics&statistics ;
Six Sigma (DFSS)
is a plus Comfortable working with international teams and
traveling occasionally
(mainly within the Netherlands, with some international trips)
