QPS Netherlands is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead and expand our Clinical Safety Laboratory capabilities in Groningen.

This is more than an operational leadership role. This role combines hands-on laboratory involvement with strategic operational leadership. Alongside day-to-day lab activities, you will play a central role in the continued development and expansion of our laboratory infrastructure as QPS Netherlands further strengthens its clinical trials sampling and central laboratory capabilities. From supporting operational readiness and implementing new processes to helping shape future laboratory services, this is an opportunity to directly influence both the scientific and operational growth of the site.

For professionals currently working as a Laboratory Manager/Supervisor or in leadership roles across Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, clinical diagnostics or clinical laboratory operations, this is an incredible opportunity to make a real and visible impact within a growing global CRO environment.

In this role, you will: Lead daily Clinical Safety Laboratory operations Remain actively involved in laboratory activities and operational execution Drive operational excellence, quality, and regulatory compliance Develop and mentor a high-performing laboratory team Support implementation of new laboratory capabilities, systems, and services (including Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Coagulation and Urinalysis).Partner closely with study teams, site leadership, and global stakeholders to support the future growth of our central laboratory services

We are looking for a laboratory leader who thrives in regulated environments and brings experience from CROs, clinical diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or clinical safety laboratory settings. Alongside strong knowledge of GCP, ISO15189, and Dutch laboratory regulations, you bring the vision and practical expertise to help expand and further develop laboratory operations, with prior experience establishing or scaling new laboratory capabilities considered a strong advantage.
