Intern– Facilities Level 4 Position Summary Internships at Smith are an opportunity for students to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience in their field of study, apply classroom knowledge to real‑world challenges, and develop professional skills that prepare them for future careers. The FacilitiesIntern Level 3 will work alongside our Facilities Coordinator on all aspects related to the smooth and safe running of our office environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and suppliers to our office, ensuring they check in and out properly;

Perform data entry and admin tasks;

Purchase refreshments, and other ad hoc purchases for the office;

Maintain common areas tidy and organized;

Help in organizing employee events;

Sort and deliver incoming mail;

Assist in monitoring and maintaining building management system;

Assist with organizing events and CSR initiatives;

Support, preventive and corrective maintenance activities and track their schedules;

Assist with writing and delivering internal communications;

Receive reports from vendors and store in appropriate folders.

Additional Information Work location is Nijverheidsweg2,Haarlem

The intern will work within the same schedule as regular employees; Monday through Friday from 08:00– 17:00.

The intern’s work week will be decided in conjunction with the academic supervisor.

An internship allowance of EUR 700 per month, based on a full‑time 40‑hour work week, will be provided.
