Our Team, Your Impact The Product Manager is an expert in product lifecycle knowledge and is responsible for establishing and maintaining Product and Price Strategy. He or she collaborates closely with Commercial Operations, Portfolio and Clusters, forecasts and reviews budgets for new products, supports launch preparation, and continuously seeks opportunities to maximize the success of Medis products.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Act as main point of contact within Medis for designated products, from portfolio approval through the product lifetime.
Identify strengths and weaknesses of the product and collaborate with stakeholders to create an optimal holistic product and pricing strategy.
Prepare and provide product‑specific information and sales material to Medis clusters.
Track ongoing development, IP status and registrations; contribute to regular product, IP, and regulatory update meetings.
Gather and maintain product information in the product database to support product success and improve our database tool.
Collaborate with the Commercial Price manager to create price strategy.
Follow up on negative or low‑margin calculations and take action.
Track business activity, offers, and signed agreements for new products and act when products are not returning sufficient margin.
Maintain a detailed overview of current business activity for each new product to support multiple departments in a timely manner.
Serve as Medis’ key contact for all product transfers and ensure stakeholders are aware of ongoing transfers.
Manage products throughout their lifecycle as needed.
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life science, or related field.
5+ years of product management or business development experience with knowledge of R&D or regulatory requirements.
Understanding of pharmaceutical research and development and commercial principles of the generic industry.
Project management certification and/or experience advantageous.
Strategic thinking and adaptability.
Analytical skills for researching and analyzing data for product decisions.
Business understanding of market situation and client needs.
Collaborative and interpersonal skills with influence and communication abilities.
Good computer skills; fluency in English spoken and written.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Location This role can be performed from Iceland, the Netherlands, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Israel.
