IK_EE Nederland– Service Office Haarlem Are you looking for an internship where you can play a key role in keeping procurement operations running smoothly? In this role, you will be the backbone of our Procurement team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping ensure purchase order compliance and accuracy. You will work closely with systems such as SAP Ariba and contribute to well‑organized, efficient, and reliable procurement processes within a large international organization.
What you will do:
Follow up with internal SAP Ariba requestors to monitor and improve Purchase Order compliance performance
Support colleagues across the business with the correct placement of Purchase Orders in SAP Ariba
Maintain and continuously improve a structured list of Frequently Asked Questions to empower requestors to self‑serve
Assist the Procurement team with a variety of administrative tasks across the end‑to‑end procurement process
Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues and flagging them to the wider team

What else you need:
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)– this is a must; Dutch is a plus
Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn SAP Ariba or similar procurement/ERP systems
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, for data tracking and communication
Ability to manage multiple follow‑ups simultaneously and keep clear records of actions and outcomes
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant HBO or university programme (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or similar)
