Manufacturing Engineer, Haarlem

Overview For a technically progressive organization in Huizen, we are looking for Manufacturing Engineers who are happy to help build innovative products. In this role, you will work closely with various engineering teams to translate designs into manufacturable, high-quality products. The core of your work lies in developing, optimizing and releasing electronic and mechanical components (such as housings). The final product is assembled on site and extensively tested to meet the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring that products are optimally designed for production, with a focus on low costs and high quality.

Preparation of data packages, work instructions and test procedures for internal and external production partners.

Selecting parts and tools with minimal risk of delivery problems.

Documenting and implementing new production processes, including adapting technical instructions.

Participating in test setups that connect seamlessly to the production line.

Support in analyzing and solving material and assembly problems.

Identifying opportunities for improvement and applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes.

Your Profile You are an engineer who likes to build bridges between design and execution. You think analytically, work in a structured way and get energy from improving processes and products.

Demonstrable experience in the manufacturing or electronics industry, preferably as a Manufacturing Engineer.

At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Lean Manufacturing experience.

A creative, analytical mindset and solution-oriented attitude.

A completed higher professional education (technical direction) or equivalent level.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent command of Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.

Dutch citizenship is required for this role.
