To deliver that level of accuracy, our production and test systems must operate flawlessly.As a Software Engineer Manufacturing, you develop and maintain the software that powers our assembly, calibration and automated test equipment. Your work ensures every device meets the highest quality standards before it reaches athletes and events worldwide.
Your Role You are the key software specialist within Manufacturing Engineering and work on the intersection of software, embedded hardware, and manufacturing engineering. You collaborate with teams and suppliers worldwide You’ll thrive if you enjoy seeing your code make an immediate, tangible impact on the factory floor: higher throughput, better quality, and smarter automation.You become the technical owner of our internal C++/Qt tooling used across production, assembly and by manufacturing partners. Your software is key in validating product performance, automating test sequences and safeguard quality.
What you’ll do: ✔️Take ownership of a mature C++/Qt codebase and improve its structure, reliability and documentation ✔️ Develop and maintain software that drives automated test stations, measurement workflows and calibration procedures ✔️ Integrate sensors, drivers and hardware interfacesinto production tooling✔️Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live production environments where uptime and accuracy are critical ✔️ Support manufacturing partners when test setups require updates, fixes or optimizations ✔️Improve data capture, measurement storage and traceability to strengthen quality control✔️ Collaborate with hardware, test and manufacturing engineers to expand and refine test capabilities This is PCbased software running on Windows, communicating with hardware via USB and other interfaces, not embedded development.
What You Bring You are an experienced C++ engineer who enjoys working close to hardware and takes ownership of critical systems. You like solving complex problems and improving the tools that ensure product quality.
You have: 5+ years of experience in C++ development Experience with hardware related software, automated testing or production environments A proactive, analytical mindset and the curiosity to understand how systems work endtoend The ability to navigate and improve large, existing codebases Experience with Qt, multithreading or databases (a plus)Residence in the Netherlands and the ability to work onsite in Haarlem
