OAI Engineer: Evacuation Alarm Systems (Hybrid), Schiphol

Responsibilities As Engineer OAI you are responsible for the technical design and elaboration of evacuation alarm system (OAI) installations within projects at Schiphol. You translate legislation, client requirements and project objectives into reliable and safe designs. You work closely with project leaders, planners and installers and ensure that installations meet the highest quality, safety and continuity standards.

Design and engineer OAI installations within utility projects at Schiphol.

Verify the designs of contractors.

Prepare technical documents such as drawings, calculations, specifications and Program of Requirements.

Validate designs against applicable standards, guidelines and permit requirements.

Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and internal colleagues.

Support execution on technical issues and monitor design quality during the project.

Qualifications

Minimum HBO work and thinking level.

Completed education in electrical engineering, installation technology, or similar.

Experience or knowledge of evacuation alarm systems (OAI) and preferably fire alarm installations.

Affinity for utility projects and complex technical environments is a plus.

Ability to maintain overview and collaborate with various parties.
