Event Volunteer Lead– HeartRace Circuit Day, Zandvoort

The Heartbeat Foundation annually organizes the HeartRace Circuit Day, a day dedicated to racing at the Zandvoort Circuit Park for families with a young heart patient. The event is made possible by the selfless efforts of many volunteers. The Zandvoort Circuit Park provides accommodation, the OCA manages track posts, and various car owners and magazines create a spectacular field of participants.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Construction and dismantling of event infrastructure

Parking assistance and safe entry/exit for guests

Support for attractions throughout the day

Contacting car companies/owners to secure vehicles

Precise ground work such as removing weeds

Maintaining grass at Stiltetuin de Regenboog (mowing, cutting, raking, removing weeds)

Additional activities for participants include riding on the boulevard, riding with a Dakar participant, attending BMW Slipschool, participating in a simulator, or riding a quad.
