Business Analyst– Finance Systems , you’ll play a key role in optimizing and standardizing our core financial processes, ensuring our systems support efficient operations and reliable reporting across multiple European entities.

About the role You will act as the bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring that ERP and related systems support accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations. Working closely with colleagues in Accounting, Controlling, and IT, you’ll analyze existing workflows, identify improvements, and translate business needs into functional solutions that help Accell operate as one integrated organization.
Key responsibilities
Own and continuously improve the ERP system to secure the support and continuation of the core finance processes at Accell, such as
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Controlling .
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure alignment with ERP system capabilities.
Analyze, configure, and test ERP changes to optimize day‑to‑day finance operations and reporting accuracy.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes through system improvements and troubleshooting.
Partner with other IT colleagues on system integrations (e.g., EDI, MuleSoft) to ensure smooth data flows between finance and other domains.
Act as a subject matter expert for finance operations within ERP.
Provide user training, documentation, and guidance to local finance teams across entities.
Contribute to larger transformation and harmonization initiatives aimed at improving standardization, automation, and financial insight.
Who we’re looking for
Strong background in
finance operations
— experience in
AP, AR, GL, or Controlling
is essential.
Hands‑on experience with
ERP systems
(SAP, Oracle, or similar) as a key user, process owner, Business Analyst or Application manager.
Ability to translate finance requirements into system solutions and functional specifications.
Structured and analytical way of working, with a focus on process optimization and data integrity.
Professional communication skills in English and Dutch;
Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable engaging with both finance and technical teams.
Preferred:
Experience in an international or multi‑brand environment.
Familiarity with
finance reporting tools
such as Power BI or Jedox.
Experience in a similar industrial company like Accell.
