Field Service Engineer -- Electrical, Opmeer

For PMJ (Part of JBT Marel), located in Opmeer, we are currently recruiting a Field Service Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for the complete electrical scope within multidisciplinary projects, from initial design to on-site commissioning. You translate customer requirements into robust electrical solutions and ensure successful project execution. In this dynamic role, you combine engineering expertise with hands-on involvement in the field.What you'll be doingInternally:Responsible for technical design specification as well as implementation of new electrical componentsWorks closely with direct colleagues and industries colleagues in BXM to create requirements for electrical control systems and cabling projectsDesign electrical control systems and perform verification testsPerform required design calculationsManufacturing of electrical panelsResponsible for maintenance and version control of existing documentation, modules and item listsDesign cabling projectsProviding remote technical support to our customersIn the field:Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets/software/PLC) part of installation-jobs.Conduct service visits.Troubleshoot production issues at customers’ sites.Manage local employees in larger installation projects.Keep in touch with, and report to the customer about your progress.Train the customer and feedback results to your colleagues.You will work in a team with experienced coworkers, both at customer site and in the office, who will teach you all the knowledge they have about our machines.About youTo be successful in this role you recognize yourself in the profile below:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related fieldExperience with electrical control systems, PLCs, electrical panels, and industrial cabling projectsExperience with SEE Electrical and/or E-plan is e plusAbility to read and create electrical schematics and technical documentationExperience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support preferredComfortable working on-site at customer locations, including international travel when requiredGood communication skills and the ability to work closely with customers and colleagues across departmentsWho are we?At PMJ we combine decades of expertise with innovative technology to deliver advanced processing solutions for the poultry industry.
