Location: Hengelo, Netherlands C/C++/Java O2N RADAR SOFTWARE ENGINEER Within the Engineering cluster, the software engineering department is responsible for developing combat and information management systems for navy ships, integrating sensor and weapon systems, and developing sensor processing applications. These complex systems are used worldwide by selected partners to ensure safety, especially in critical situations where lives are at stake.We are seeking talented C/C++/Java engineers to join our software engineering department. About the job In this sensor processing group, the complete radar software is developed, including control of radar systems, organization of radar transmissions, and processing of digital information. The goal is to detect, classify, and track objects such as aircraft and drones, displaying information on an operator console.The software architecture is modular, supporting robust and evolutionary system development. Development occurs within Agile teams supported by a modern development environment. The teams are responsible for further development and maintenance of the architecture, development environment, and Agile processes.We are expanding the O2N team, which develops a modeling and middleware suite for distributed and time-critical systems. O2N allows sensor systems to be technologically agnostic, enabling sensor engineers to focus on domain-specific software rather than technical software.
