Thales designs state-of-the-art radar systems and optical sensors that form part of a complete and integrated defense system. The product portfolio ranges from small portable radars, for example, for border or object monitoring, to complex four-dimensional radars capable of detecting small objects at hundreds to thousands of miles away.Within the software department, the radar core processing team is responsible for developing the software for optimal control and digital processing functions in the sensors. This involves multidisciplinary teams working alongside specialists in system engineering, functional sensor design, and real-time system realization.About the job This team develops the complete radar software, including control systems, radar transmission organization, and digital information processing. The goal is to detect, classify, and track objects such as aircraft and drones, and display this information on an operator console. The software architecture is modular, supporting robust and evolutionary system development. Development occurs in Agile teams using modern tools, with teams managing architecture, development, and processes themselves.About you If you have a passion for technology and are interested in working on radar drivers or complex algorithms, you might be the person we are looking for.
